Adopt a Buck

Return to Main »

Air Hoss the BuckAir Hoss

Small but mighty as fawn. He was very vocal when it came time for milk, you could hear him from far away. His persistence allowed him to grow into a handsome young buck – with black devil horn markings! Air Hoss is named for Russ Holliday, the helicopter pilot that helped capture him, but was later killed in helicopter crash.

Captain Nemo the BuckCaptain Nemo

Acquired from a rehabilitator in northern Washington . As a fawn he was found half dead in a snowbank and was nursed back to health. He was named after the famous submarine pilot because he poked is head out of a playpen he was kept in like a submarine's periscope. Nemo was was once one of our most timid fawns, but is now our most manly and aggressive buck with biggest antlers (4 tines each antler as a yearling).

Revere the BuckRevere

Our first fawn, he was captured near Revere, Washington . He is a sweet, gorgeous buck who has never been shy and is always looking for love and kisses. His best friend has been his original penmate and first female, Annabell.

Adopted by: Nikki and Bryan Thines

Steffen the BuckSteffen

Has a twin, Kyla, who are both “strawberry blonds”. Steffen was a shy fawn, but a tall, lanky, and sweet buck. He was named by Chris, the grandson of volunteer Jim who helped capture him and other fawns.
